Wind
The wind can be gentle and pleasant, with light flow that cools the body and brings a sense of calm,
הָרוּחַ יְכוֹלָה לִהְיוֹת עֲדִינָה וּנְעִימָה, עִם זְרָמִים קְלִּילִים שֶׁמְּקָרְרִים אֶת הַגּוּף וּמְבִיאִים תְּחוּשַׁת רְגִיעָה,
Or it can be strong and stormy, as in the case of tornadoes or hurricanes.
אוֹ שֶׁהִיא יְכוֹלָה לִהְיוֹת חֲזָקָה וְסוֹעֶרֶת, כְּמוֹ בְּמִקְרֶה שֶׁל סוּפוֹת טוֹרְנָדוֹ אוֹ הוּרִיקָנִים.
In Israel we don't have tornadoes or hurricanes, but sometimes there are strong winds that make a mess in my garden and sometimes this can be very dangerous because very strong winds can knock down trees or electricity poles.
בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אֵין לָנוּ טוֹרְנָדוֹ אוֹ הוּרִיקָנִים, אֲבָל לִפְעָמִים יֵשׁ רוּחוֹת חֲזָקוֹת שֶׁעוֹשׂוֹת לִי בָּלָאגָן וְלִכְלוּךְ בַּגִּינָּה וְלִפְעָמִים זֶה יָכוֹל לִהְיוֹת מַמָּשׁ מְסוּכָּן כִּי רוּחוֹת חֲזָקוֹת מְאוֹד יְכוֹלוֹת לְהַפּ ִיל עֵצִים אוֹ עַמּוּדֵי חַשְׁמַל.
In the modern world, man has learned to use the energy of the wind to operate wind turbines and produce renewable and environmentally friendly energy.
בָּעוֹלָם הַמּוֹדֶרְנִי, הָאָדָם לָמַד לְנַצֵּל אֶת הָאֵנֶרְגִּיָּה שֶׁל הָרוּחַ לְהַפְעָלַת טוּרְבִּינוֹת רוּחַ וּלְהָפִיק אֵנֶרְגִּיָּה מִתְחַדֶּשֶׁת וִידִידוּתִית לַסְּבִיבָה.
