Glove - Gloves

A glove is an item of clothing that we wear on our hands when we are cold.
הַכְּפָפָה הִיא פְּרִיט לְבוּשׁ שֶׁאֲנַחְנוּ עוֹטִים עַל הַיָּדַיִם אִם קַר לָנוּ.
There is place for five fingers in a glove and we are required to fit each finger into its designated place.
בִּכְפָפָה יֵשׁ מָקוֹם לְחָמֵשׁ אֶצְבָּעוֹת וַאֲנַחְנוּ צְרִיכִים לְהַכְנִיס כָּל אֶצְבַּע לַמָּקוֹם הַמְּיוֹעָד לָהּ.
There are children's gloves that have a small space for the thumb and a large space for the other four fingers, making it easier to put the gloves on the hands of small children.
יֵשׁ כְּפָפוֹת לִילָדִים שֶׁבָּהֶן יֵשׁ מָקוֹם רַק לַאֲגוּדָל וְעוֹד מָקוֹם גָּדוֹל לְאַרְבַּע הָאֶצְבָּעוֹת הָאֲחֵרוֹת כְּדֵי שֶׁיִּהְיֶה קַל יוֹתֵר לַעֲטוֹת אֶת הַכְּפָפוֹת עַל הַיָּדַיִם שֶׁל יְלָדִים קְטַנִּים.
There are also gloves made of other materials, such as rubber or latex, but they are not used for keeping us warm but for protecting our hands, for example when we are cleaning with cleaning materials that contain all kinds of chemicals and can damage the skin of the hands.
יֵשׁ גַּם כְּפָפוֹת מֵחֳמָרִים שׁוֹנִים כְּמוֹ גּוּמִי אוֹ לַטֶקְס, אֲבָל הֵן לֹא מְשַׁמְּשׁוֹת לְחִימּוּם אֶלָּא לַהֲגָנָה עַל הַיָּדַיִם, לְמָשָׁל כְּשֶׁאֲנַחְנוּ מְנַקִּים עִם חוֹמְרֵי נִיקּוּי שֶׁמְּכִילִים כָּל מִינֵי כִּימִיקָלִים וַעֲלוּלִים לְהַזִּיק לְעוֹר הַיָּדַיִם.
