Fireworks
Fireworks are explosives (small bombs) that detonate with spectacular effects of colors and shapes.
הַזִּיקּוּקִים הֵם נַפָּצִים (פְּצָצוֹת קְטַנּוֹת) שֶׁמִּתְפּוֹצְצִים בְּאֵפֶקְטִים מַרְהִיבִים שֶׁל צְבָעִים וְצוּרוֹת.
The expression "Zikukin Di-Nur" first appears in the Babylonian Talmud, where its meaning is "sparks of fire".
הַבִּיטּוּי 'זִקּוּקִין דִּי-נוּר' מוֹפִיעַ לָרִאשׁוֹנָה בַּתַּלְמוּד הַבַּבְלִי, שָׁם מַשְׁמָעוּתוֹ "נִיצוֹצוֹת אֵשׁ".
