To sweep
The infinitive "לטאטא" ("to sweep") means to clean using a broom.
שֵׁם הַפֹּעַל לְטַאֲטֵא מַשְׁמָעוּתוֹ לְנַקּוֹת בְּעֶזְרַת מְטַאֲטֵא.
We can sweep the floor in the house, and we can sweep the path in the garden. However, to sweep the path in the garden, we use a street broom, which has thicker bristles.
אֲנַחְנוּ יְכוֹלִים לְטַאֲטֵא אֶת הָרִצְפָּה בַּבַּיִת, וַאֲנַחְנוּ יְכוֹלִים לְטַאֲטֵא אֶת הַשְּׁבִיל בַּגִּינָּה, אֲבָל בִּשְׁבִיל לְטַאֲטֵא אֶת הַשְּׁבִיל בַּגִּינָּה נִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ בְּמַטְאֲטֵא כְּבִישׁ שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ סִיבִים (שְׂעָרוֹת) יוֹתֵר עָבִים.
In every city or town, there are people whose job is to sweep the streets, in order to keep the city clean and make it pleasant to walk in its streets.
בְּכָל עִיר אוֹ יִשּׁוּב יֵשׁ אֲנָשִׁים שֶׁהָעֲבוֹדָה שֶׁלָּהֶם הִיא לְטַאֲטֵא אֶת הָרְחוֹבוֹת, כְּדֵי לִשְׁמוֹר עַל הָעִיר נְקִיָּה וְשֶׁיִּהְיֶה נָעִים לְטַיֵּל בִּרְחוֹבוֹתֶיהָ.

1. Every morning, the employees need to sweep the store floor before customers arrive.

4. Some people prefer "to sweep problems under the rug" instead of dealing with them directly.
