Great Grandson\daughter
The great-grandson and great-granddaughter are the children of the grandchildren.
הַנִּין וְהַנִּינָה הֵם יַלְדֵיהֶם שֶׁל הַנְּכָדִים.
The word "great-grandson" does not appear in the Torah in the meaning of the son of the grandson. In the Torah, the word "great-grandson" is synonymous with son or grandson.
הַמִּילָּה נִין לֹא מוֹפִיעָה בַּתּוֹרָה בְּמַשְׁמָעוּת שֶׁל הַבֵּן שֶׁל הַנֶּכֶד. בַּתּוֹרָה הַמִּילָּה נִין הִיא מִילָּה נִרְדֶּפֶת לְבֵן אוֹ לְנֶכֶד.
In the Torah, the words "שִׁילֵּשׁ" and "רִיבֵּעַ" appear, and we can understand that the intention is for grandchildren and great-grandchildren, since "שִׁילֵּשׁ" suggests the third generation (father-son-grandson) and "רִיבֵּעַ" suggests the fourth generation (father-son-grandson-great-grandson).
בַּתּוֹרָה מוֹפִיעוֺת הַמִּילִּים: שִׁילֵּשׁ וְרִיבֵּעַ וַאֲנַחְנוּ יְכוֹלִים לְהָבִין שֶׁהַכַּוָּנָה הִיא לִנְכָדִים וּלְנִינִים כִּי שִׁלֵּשׁ מַזְכִּיר דּוֹר שְׁלִישִׁי (אַבָּא-בֵּן-נֶכֶד) וְרִיבֵּעַ מַזְכִּיר דּוֹר רְבִיעִי (אַבָּא–בֵּן-נֶכֶד-נִין)
It was only in 2014, in the year תשע"ה, that the Academy of the Hebrew Language approved the use of the word "great-grandson" to mean the son of the grandson.
רַק בִּשְׁנַת תשע"ה 2014, הָאָקָדֶמְיָה לַלָּשׁוֹן הָעִבְרִית אִשְּׁרָה אֶת הַמִּילָּה נִין בְּמַשְׁמָעוּת בֶּן הַנֶּכֶד.
