A knife - Knives
The word "knife" in Hebrew can exist in both masculine and feminine forms, meaning it is allowed to say (סַכִּין חַד) and also (סַכִּין חַדָּה).
הַמִּילָּה סַכִּין בַּשָּׂפָה הָעִבְרִית יְכוֹלָה לְהִתְקַיֵּם הֵן בְּצוּרַת זָכַר וְהֵן בְּצוּרַת נְקֵבָה כְּלוֹמַר: מוּתָּר לְהַגִּיד: סַכִּין חַד וְגַם סַכִּין חַדָּה.
We have many types of knives, for example: a bread knife, which is used to slice bread into slices, or a spreading knife, which is a non-sharp knife used to spread all kinds of spreads on a slice of bread, for example, chocolate, butter, or cheese.
יֵשׁ לָנוּ הַרְבֵּה סוּגִים שֶׁל סַכִּינִים, לְמָשָׁל: סַכִּין לֶחֶם שֶׁבְּאֶמְצָעוּתָהּ פּוֹרְסִים לֶחֶם לִפְרוּסוֹת אוֺ סַכִּין מְרִיחָה שֶׁהִיא סַכִּין לֹא חַדָּה שֶׁבְּאֶמְצָעוּתָהּ מוֹרְחִים כָּל מִינֵי מִמְרָחִים עַל פְּרוּסַת לֶחֶם, לְמָשָׁל שׁוֹקוֹלָד, חֶמְאָה אוֹ גְּבִינָה.
There is also a butcher's knife that butchers use to cut meat. This is a very sharp and very large knife. And there is also a shaving knife with which you shave hair from different parts of the body.
יֵשׁ גַם סַכִּין קַצָּבִים שֶׁבָּהּ מִשְׁתַּמְּשִׁים הַקַּצָּבִים כְּדֵי לַחֲתּוֹךְ בָּשָׂר. זֹאת סַכִּין מַמָּשׁ חַדָּה וּמַמָּשׁ גְּדוֹלָה. וְיֵשׁ גַם סַכִּין גִּילּוּחַ שֶׁבְּאֶמְצָעוּתָהּ מְגַלְּחִים שֵׂיעָר מֵחֶלְקֵי גּוּף שׁוֹנִים.

3. הוּא מִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ בְּסַכִּין גִּילּוּחַ אֵיכוּתִית כְּדֵי לְגַלֵּחַ אֶת שֵׂיעָר הַפָּנִים שֶׁלּוֹ וּלְאַחַר הַגִּילּוּחַ עוֹר פָּנָיו נָקִי וְחָלָק.
