A teaspoon - Teaspoons
The word "kapit" (teaspoon) is a diminutive form, meaning a small "kaf" (spoon). Here are a few more examples of diminutives in Hebrew:

The main difference between a spoon and a teaspoon is the size of the part that holds the liquid. A teaspoon can hold one-third of the amount of liquid that a spoon can hold.
הַהֶבְדֵּל הָעִיקָּרִי בֵּין הַכַּף לַכַּפִּית הוּא בְּגוֹדֶל הַחֵלֶק שֶׁמַּחֲזִיק אֶת הַנּוֹזֵל. הַכַּפִּית יְכוֹלָה לְהַחֲזִיק שְׁלִישׁ מִכַּמּוּת הַנּוֹזֵל שֶׁיְּכוֹלָה לְהַחֲזִיק הַכַּף.
Some say that the difference between a spoon and a teaspoon is also the length of the handle, but there are also teaspoons with long handles.
יֵשׁ כָּאֵלֶּה שֶׁאוֹמְרִים שֶׁהַהֶבְדֵּל בֵּין כַּף לְכַפִּית הוּא גַּם אוֹרֶךְ הַיָּדִית, אֲבָל יֵשׁ גַּם כַּפִּיּוֹת עִם יָדִיּוֹת אֲרוּכּוֹת.
We have a cute expression in Hebrew with the word "teaspoon": "born with a golden teaspoon in his mouth". We use this expression when we talk about someone born into a wealthy family and who does not need to work for their livelihood.
